The International community for Krishna Consciousness, or ISKCON, is a community that primarily follows the beliefs and customs of the revered Hindu deity Krishna. Numerous number temples belonging to this group are located in both India and other nations. The ISKCON Temple of Mumbai is one of the 40 temples that are found in India. The temple is also known as the Hare Rama Hare Krishna Temple. The local Mumbai devotees also refer to Lord Krishna as "Radha Rashbihariji." The temple is visible in the Mumbai neighborhood of Juhu. This shrine is at a short distance from the well-known Juhu beach.

ISKCON Temple Juhu Mumbai Mythology & History

The majority of Hindu gods have representations in the ISKCON temple. However, Lord Krishna is regarded as the deity represented by the temple's main statue. In mythology, Lord Krishna is a different manifestation of Lord Vishnu. He had an extremely alluring appearance that drew both people and animals to him. He was blue in color, had a peacock feather on his head, and always carried a flute in his hand. Vishnu assumed the shape of Lord Krishna and was born as the nephew of Kansha as a result of the evil king Kansha's numerous destructions of the people of Mathura. Kansha has always been envious of his nephew and wished to have him killed.
